David Chou vs Kieran Siok

Boxing Daily Report from the Rooq Promotions promoted show at Haaris Sawaya Gym, Kuala Lumpur,  taking place on 26/12/2029:

Clearly Rooq Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Malaysia-Federal Territory Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are David Chou (11 - 12 - 3) who hails from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Kieran Siok(14 - 10(2) - 6) from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.  Both Chou and Siok weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Obaid Ishmael, and the three ringside judges are Haider Amir, Saad Zogby and Amjad Ebrahimi.  

Round 1: 

Siok steps away from his opponent and attempts to land a jab, but Chou blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Siok gets on the inside.  Siok throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Chou's complaints and signals for the action to continue.

Siok advances into close range.  Siok quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Chou digs in a right hook to Siok's ribcage.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Chou dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Siok is looking to close the distance and throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.
