Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at The Palestra, Philadelphia,  taking place on 16/02/2030:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the WRBA Youth Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fox Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are James Banks (7(1) - 1) who hails from Dundee, UK and Joaquin Borromeo(16(12) - 2(2)) from Calamba, Philippines.  Both Banks and Borromeo weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Duncan Prost, and the three ringside judges are Bruce Cummins, Dillon Kundrat and Cody Flett.  

Round 1: 

Borromeo is looking to close the distance and tries to land a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut to Borromeo's body.  
Borromeo lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Borromeo connects with a right hook.  Borromeo holds on to his opponent.  Borromeo is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Borromeo's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Banks lands a cross.  
Borromeo gets on the inside and attempts to land a left uppercut, but Banks sidesteps and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
Borromeo is on target with a left hook.  
Borromeo lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Borromeo ties up his opponent.  Banks pushes his forearm into Borromeo's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Banks about fouling.

Borromeo throws a left hook, but his opponent steps away from the punch.  Borromeo holds on to his opponent.  Banks tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Borromeo behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Banks about fouling.  
Borromeo hits home with a left hook.  
Borromeo lands a right hook.  Banks wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Borromeo dabs at his face checking for damage.  Borromeo has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.  
Borromeo lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Borromeo throws a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.
