Daniil Volkonsky vs Ivan Federoff

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Russia-Perm Krai promoted show at Dotse Gym, Perm,  taking place on 29/01/2030:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Russia-Perm Krai Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport Russia, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Daniil Volkonsky (19(7) - 0) who hails from Berezniki, Russia and Ivan Federoff(21 - 5(2) - 5 - 1(NC)) from Berezniki, Russia.  Volkonsky weighed in at 121 pounds and 11 ounces, while Federoff weighed in at 121 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Luka Sadowski, and the three ringside judges are Georgiy Yesheyev, Borya Lukyanov and Viktor Davydov.

Volkonsky walks Federoff down, trapping him in the corner.  Volkonsky lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Volkonsky lands a left hook, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Volkonsky knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Volkonsky lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a right uppercut followed by  two left uppercuts to his opponents body, AND SENDS FEDEROFF TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  Federoff now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Federoff's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Federoff's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Federoff's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Federoff attempts to land a jab, but Volkonsky sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Volkonsky closes the distance and is on target with a firm right hook to Federoff's ribs.  
Volkonsky lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Volkonsky ties up his opponent.  Volkonsky is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Volkonsky closes the distance and is on target with a solid left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Federoff tries to keep the action at long range.  Volkonsky feints a jab, tricking Federoff into throwing a left uppercut counter.  Volkonsky is waiting for the shot and counters with a left uppercut.
