Gareth Hare vs Alastair Merricks

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Wisconsin promoted show at Jamie Lessels Gym, Madison,  taking place on 02/01/2030:

Clearly AI USA-Wisconsin have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Wisconsin Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gareth Hare (5 - 13(1) - 2) who hails from Milwaukee, USA and Alastair Merricks(7 - 16(2) - 5) from Milwaukee, USA.  Both Hare and Merricks weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Lee Griffith, and the three ringside judges are Rex Applegarth, John Quirke and Theo Gwenn.  

Round 1: 

Hare is looking to keep the action on the outside and throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.
