Charles Stennis vs Matthew Sear

Boxing Daily Report from the Forficula Promotion promoted show at Forficula Gym, Linden,  taking place on 20/01/2030:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Charles Stennis (0 - 0) who hails from New Amsterdam, Guyana and Matthew Sear(1 - 0) from Georgetown, Guyana.  Both Stennis and Sear weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Danny Lyon, and the three ringside judges are Vincent Finlayson, Gareth Neild and Rob Pate.  

Round 1: 

Stennis lands a left hook, right hook and a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Sear walks his opponent into a corner.  Stennis lands a left uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents body.  
Stennis lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Stennis lands a cross.  
Stennis connects with a cross.  
Stennis tries to land a cross, but Sear slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Sear forces Stennis to back into the ropes.  Sear sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a jab.  
Stennis lands a right uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Sear backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Stennis accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Sear.  Stennis is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents ribs.

Sear steps inside.  Stennis lands a solid right hook.

Sear gets on the inside.  Stennis pivots to the left of his opponent and drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Stennis lands an overhand right.  
Stennis sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Sear connects with a cross.  
Sear closes the distance.  Stennis connects with a solid left hook.  
Stennis switches the action to the outside.  Sear is on target with a cross.  
Stennis tries to keep the action at long range and lands an overhand right followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Sear's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Stennis throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Stennis is looking to keep his distance and finds the target with a jab.  
Stennis is on target with a solid overhand right.  
Stennis lands an overhand right.  
Sear is looking to close the distance.  Stennis digs in a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Stennis is on target with an overhand right.  
Stennis quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and connects with a cross.  
At the end of Round 3, lets listen in on the corners...Stennis's trainer is telling his fighter he is a mile in front and not to do anything stupid. Sear's trainer is telling his fighter he must go to war on his opponent!  Sear's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.

Stennis is looking to keep his distance and tries to land a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Stennis pivots from in front of his opponent.  Stennis throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores Sear's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Stennis is looking to keep the action on the outside and connects with an overhand right.  
Sear gets on the inside.  Stennis drives a firm right hook into Sear's ribcage.
