Makalo Akamenya vs Paul Ngassi

Boxing Daily Report from the African Fusion promoted show at Ticketpro Dome, Johannesburg,  taking place on 09/02/2030:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the African Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on M-Net, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Makalo Akamenya (24(2) - 7(4) - 2) who hails from Kumasi, Ghana and Paul Ngassi(22(5) - 2) from Johannesburg, South Africa.  Both Akamenya and Ngassi weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mzikayise Tlolane, and the three ringside judges are Simba Bariagher, John Masina and Luvolwethu Khumalo.
