Bob Jeppesen vs Ian Fitzpatrick

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Michigan promoted show at Grand Rapids Glasgow, Grand Rapids,  taking place on 31/01/2030:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Michigan Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Bob Jeppesen (8 - 7 - 4) who hails from Detroit, USA and Ian Fitzpatrick(14 - 9 - 4) from Grand Rapids, USA.  Jeppesen weighed in at 129 pounds and 7 ounces, while Fitzpatrick weighed in at 129 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Lewis Chiens, and the three ringside judges are Inigo McGrath, Mark Tew and Amon Watters.  

Round 1: 

Fitzpatrick steps inside.  Jeppesen pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.  
Fitzpatrick lands a cross.  
Fitzpatrick advances into close range and walks Jeppesen down, trapping him in the corner.  Fitzpatrick lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Jeppesen is on target with a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Fitzpatrick sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Jeppesen lands a cross.  
Jeppesen pivots to the side of his opponent.  Jeppesen tries to land a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Fitzpatrick sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Fitzpatrick attempts to land a jab, but Jeppesen parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Fitzpatrick closes the distance.  Fitzpatrick lands a left hook.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Fitzpatrick has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight damage to the nose.  
Jeppesen tries to keep the action at long range.  Fitzpatrick sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Jeppesen connects with a cross.  
Jeppesen quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a cross.
