Rio Rueda vs Leo Patillo

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at Claude Robillard Centre, Montreal,  taking place on 23/02/2030:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Americas Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Rio Rueda (22(18) - 0) who hails from Panama City, Panama and Leo Patillo(26(5) - 7(5) - 3) from Baltimore, USA.  Rueda weighed in at 168 pounds, while Patillo weighed in at 167 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Stephen Morton, and the three ringside judges are James Dunlap, Aaron Henry and Gerard Segalen.

Patillo gets on the inside and lands two left hook's to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Rueda steps to the outside and lands an overhand left followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Patillo gets on the inside and is on target with a right uppercut to Rueda's body.  
Patillo lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Rueda tries to land a left uppercut, but Patillo slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Rueda is looking to keep the action on the outside and tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook to Rueda's ribs.  
Rueda lands a cross to the body, an overhand right to the head and an overhand left to the head.  
Rueda quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and connects with a FIERCE overhand right.  PATILLO WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
The right shot from Rueda could be enough to force the stoppage!  Rueda lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents head, AND SENDS PATILLO SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Patillo cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Rueda!
