Zareb Sikatana vs Ontibile Nyumbu

Boxing Daily Report from the Daduryan Promotions promoted show at Lusaka Chitty, Lusaka,  taking place on 04/02/2030:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Zambia Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ZNBC, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Zareb Sikatana (8(5) - 0) who hails from Lusaka, Zambia and Ontibile Nyumbu(4 - 6 - 1) from Lusaka, Zambia.  Sikatana weighed in at 111 pounds and 9 ounces, while Nyumbu weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Diallo Mbilila, and the three ringside judges are Rich Kabaghe, Kyrone Chibiya and Tavarius Hampwaye.  

Round 1: 

Sikatana tries to step out of his opponents range and hits home with a sharp cross.  
Sikatana feints a cross, and then lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Sikatana lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Sikatana lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Nyumbu closes the distance and throws a right hook, but Sikatana ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Sikatana pushes his forearm into Nyumbu's face.  The ref breaks Sikatana's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Sikatana lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Sikatana holds on to his opponent.  Sikatana is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Sikatana is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Sikatana to stop fouling.  
Sikatana hits home with a cross.  
Sikatana is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a cross followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Sikatana lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He then lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Sikatana throws a right hook, but the shot is blocked.  Sikatana holds on to his opponent.  Sikatana leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Sikatana lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Nyumbu almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Sikatana is looking to keep his distance and lands a ramrod jab.  
Sikatana steps to the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Nyumbu walks Sikatana onto the ropes.  Sikatana hits home with a solid cross.  
Sikatana steps away from his opponent and lands a jab, overhand right and a cross to his opponents head.  
Sikatana lands a stiff jab.  
Sikatana lands a cross followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head.  
Nyumbu cuts off the ring, trapping Sikatana on the ropes.  Sikatana finds the target with a jab.  
Nyumbu hits home with a cross.  
Sikatana lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Sikatana lands a SAVAGE right uppercut.  Nyumbu now seems to have got his legs back.  
Sikatana is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a cross, jab and an overhand left to his opponents head.  
Sikatana lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Sikatana sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Nyumbu throws a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Sikatana lands a jab, cross and an overhand left to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Nyumbu quickly recovers. 
Sikatana feints a jab, tricking Nyumbu into throwing a left uppercut counter.  Sikatana avoids the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Sikatana lands a sharp overhand left.  
Sikatana lands a cross to the body followed by two jab's to the head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Nyumbu's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Nyumbu's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.

Nyumbu advances into close range.  Sikatana connects with a firm left hook.  Sikatana clinches his opponent.  Sikatana is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Sikatana uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Nyumbu behind the head. The ref breaks Sikatana's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Sikatana tries to step out of his opponents range and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Sikatana senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Sikatana lands a left uppercut followed by  two right hooks to his opponents head, KNOCKING NYUMBU DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  
Sikatana lands a right hook to the body followed by a cross to the head, AND SENDS NYUMBU SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He makes it to one knee, but is unable to rise any further as the ref counts 10!  The winner by KO is Sikatana!
