Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Utah promoted show at West Valley City Wedderburn, West Valley City,  taking place on 18/02/2030:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are David McRoberts (1 - 4) who hails from Omaha, USA and Jonathan Patterson(7(2) - 2(1)) from Ontario, USA.  McRoberts weighed in at 226 pounds and 4 ounces, while Patterson weighed in at 237 pounds and 5 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Lucas Main, and the three ringside judges are Joe Leithead, Chris Wigton and Senon Para.  

Round 1: 

Patterson gets on the inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.

Patterson pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a jab to the body, a jab to the head and a right uppercut to the head.  
Patterson is looking to close the distance.  Patterson quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Patterson lands a firm right hook.  Patterson ties up his opponent.  Patterson is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Patterson steps to the outside and is on target with a powerful cross.  MCROBERTS WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!
