Ashley Sharper vs Alejandro Callejas

Boxing Daily Report from the Hands Promotions promoted show at Balch Fieldhouse, Boulder,  taking place on 28/02/2030:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ashley Sharper (15(8) - 0) who hails from Denver, USA and Alejandro Callejas(13 - 3(2)) from Panama City, Panama.  Both Sharper and Callejas weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sam Coghill, and the three ringside judges are David Routledge, Corey Satter and Declan Patterson.  

Round 1: 

Callejas lands a ramrod jab.  Callejas throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a nasty right uppercut.  CALLEJAS IS HURT!  Callejas quickly recovers. 
Sharper lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Sharper throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Sharper tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Sharper throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Sharper throws a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Sharper switches the action to the outside and connects with a firm cross.  Sharper attempts to land a jab, but Callejas slips the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Sharper lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Sharper is looking to keep the action on the outside and throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Callejas cuts off the ring, trapping Sharper on the ropes.  Sharper finds the target with a jab.

Callejas pivots to the right of his opponent and lands with a stiff jab.  
Callejas is looking to close the distance.  Callejas quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Callejas tries to land a left hook, but Sharper blocks the shot and counters with a stinging left uppercut.  
Callejas tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid right uppercut.  
Callejas advances into close range.  Sharper lands a left hook to the head, a right uppercut to the head and a left hook to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Sharper thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Callejas away.  Sharper connects with a HUGE left uppercut.  CALLEJAS IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 5.  Callejas now seems to have his senses back.  
Callejas is looking to close the distance and walks Sharper down, trapping him on the ropes.  Sharper lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
As Callejas tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Sharper dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Callejas lands a stinging cross.  
Sharper lands a jab to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Sharper tries to step out of his opponents range.  Callejas connects with a cross.

Callejas feints a left hook, but Sharper is not fooled and lands with a firm right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Sharper lands with a hard jab.  
Sharper feints a cross, tricking Callejas into launching a right hook counter.  Sharper is waiting for the shot and counters with a left hook to Callejas's body.  
Sharper lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Sharper drives a sharp jab into his opponents body.  
Sharper hits home with a stinging jab.  
Sharper lands a jab to the head, a jab to the body and a cross to the head.  
Sharper is looking to keep the action on the outside and is on target with a jab to Callejas's body.

Callejas pivots to the side of his opponent.  Callejas connects with a left hook.  Callejas throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp right uppercut to Callejas's body.  
Sharper steps away from his opponent and lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS CALLEJAS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  Callejas almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Callejas advances into close range.  Sharper drives a stinging left hook into his opponents liver.  Sharper attempts to land a left hook, but Callejas blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Callejas walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Sharper hits home with a cross.  
Sharper feints a jab, tricking Callejas into countering with a right uppercut.  Sharper is waiting for the shot and counters with a solid right hook.  
Sharper switches the action to the outside.  Sharper lowers his guard, attempting to draw a lead.  Callejas tries to land a cross, but Sharper sidesteps and counters with a mean left uppercut.  CALLEJAS WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Sharper is looking to force the stoppage!  Sharper EXPLODES a MASSIVE left hook into his opponents face.  CALLEJAS IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  
Sharper lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  He then lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND CALLEJAS IS DOWN!  The ref does not even bother with the count...he's seen enough!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Sharper!
