Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at MGM Grand, Las Vegas,  taking place on 23/03/2030:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the IRBF Intercontinental Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fox Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ian Connolly (20(3) - 3(2)) who hails from West Valley City, USA and Mark Penney(11(5) - 3) from Gaineau, Canada.  Both Connolly and Penney weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Pedro Lua, and the three ringside judges are Ellis Slight, Henry Weddell and George Ramo.
