Ian Ness vs David Leishman

Boxing Daily Report from the test1 promoted show at Michael Rendall Gym, Nassau,  taking place on 12/02/2030:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Bahamas Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ZNS, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ian Ness (8 - 6(1) - 3) who hails from Nassau, Bahamas and David Leishman(9(7) - 0 - 1) from Nassau, Bahamas.  Both Ness and Leishman weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mason Combee, and the three ringside judges are James Beddow, Lucas Beath and Steven Gorry.  

Round 1: 

Leishman is looking to close the distance.  Ness sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with a stinging left hook.

Leishman walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Leishman slams a big right hook into his opponents body.  IT LOOKS LIKE NESS WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Ness almost instantly recovers. 
Ness is looking to keep his distance and hits home with a spiteful jab.
