Montgomery Beaumier vs Oriel Nguimgo

Boxing Daily Report from the Afrifa Promotions promoted show at Yaoundé Dujardin, Yaoundé,  taking place on 13/02/2030:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Cameroon-Centre Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Montgomery Beaumier (11 - 8 - 3) who hails from Yaoundé, Cameroon and Oriel Nguimgo(18 - 9) from Yaoundé, Cameroon.  Both Beaumier and Nguimgo weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Paris Bong, and the three ringside judges are Glanville Drucker, Briar Meiffret and Byron Sebastian.  

Round 1: 

Nguimgo pivots to the left of his opponent and connects with a right hook.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Nguimgo dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Beaumier is looking to keep his distance.  Nguimgo lands a cross, overhand right and a jab to his opponents head.
