Abdul Mahdi vs Imran Islam

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Egypt-Cairo promoted show at Cairo Mina, Cairo,  taking place on 12/02/2030:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Egypt-Cairo Minimumweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Abdul Mahdi (9 - 4 - 1) who hails from Cairo, Egypt and Imran Islam(8 - 6 - 4) from Cairo, Egypt.  Mahdi weighed in at 104 pounds and 2 ounces, while Islam weighed in at 105 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Zain Nasr, and the three ringside judges are Waqar Marzouk, Azam Kalb and Amer Musharraf.

Mahdi pivots to the left of his opponent.  Islam drives a firm left hook into Mahdi's body.  
Islam connects with a sharp right hook.

Islam closes the distance.  Mahdi leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Islam accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Mahdi.  Islam digs in a right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  
Islam lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.
