Carlin Kandel vs Merral Gerstle

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Germany-Berlin promoted show at Berlin Angerman, Berlin,  taking place on 14/02/2030:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Germany-Berlin Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Carlin Kandel (18 - 5(2) - 3) who hails from Berlin, Germany and Merral Gerstle(10 - 7 - 3) from Berlin, Germany.  Kandel weighed in at 139 pounds and 9 ounces, while Gerstle weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Edingu Strohm, and the three ringside judges are Le+¦ Sanders, Griswold Beu and Merle Johnke.  

Round 1: 

Gerstle advances into close range and manouvers Kandel onto the ropes.  Gerstle sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Kandel leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Gerstle is whaling away with hooks, but Kandel keeps his defence tight.  
Gerstle steps inside.  Kandel throws a left hook, but Gerstle holds on to his opponent.  Kandel throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Kandel to stop fouling.  
Kandel steps away from his opponent.  Gerstle lands an overhand right.  
Gerstle contemptuously drops his hands, trying to provoke his opponent.  Kandel lands a cross.  
Kandel is on target with a right hook.  
Gerstle is looking to close the distance and throws a right hook, but is off-target.  Gerstle holds on to his opponent.  Gerstle tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Kandel behind the head.
