Mark Assiful vs Quaddus Korsah

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ghana-Ashanti promoted show at Kumasi Darko, Kumasi,  taking place on 14/02/2030:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Ghana-Ashanti Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mark Assiful (12 - 12(2) - 4) who hails from Kumasi, Ghana and Quaddus Korsah(17(3) - 3) from Kumasi, Ghana.  Assiful weighed in at 146 pounds And 12 ounces, while Korsah weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Malcolm Habe, and the three ringside judges are Paul Kwakye, Tamarius Ankomah and Ibrahim Siddiqi.  

Round 1: 

Korsah drives a left hook into Assiful's body.

Korsah gets on the inside and forces Assiful to back into a neutral corner.  Korsah lands a stinging left uppercut.

Korsah gets on the inside and digs in a sharp left uppercut to his opponents body.

Korsah gets on the inside and manouvers Assiful into a corner.  Korsah lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.

Assiful steps to the outside.  Assiful sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Korsah hits the target with a stiff jab.  
The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Korsah dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Assiful switches the action to the outside.  Korsah sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Korsah lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  Korsah throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Korsah is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands an overhand left to the head, a cross to the head and a jab to the body.  
Korsah pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Korsah lands a right hook followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head.  
Korsah walks Assiful into the corner.  Korsah lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Korsah closes the distance and is on target with a stinging right hook.  
Korsah lands a right uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Korsah closes the distance and walks Assiful onto the ropes.  Korsah pivots to the side of his opponent.  Assiful throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.

Korsah quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and connects with a right hook.  
Assiful lands a right hook.  
Korsah lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Assiful recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Korsah lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Assiful tries to land a cross, but Korsah sidesteps and counters with a left hook.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Assiful.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
