Auno Tamminen vs Arsi Harjula

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Finland-Uusimaa promoted show at Scandic Grand Marina Fennia, Helsinki,  taking place on 25/02/2030:

Clearly AI Finland-Uusimaa have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Auno Tamminen (8(6) - 0) who hails from Espoo, Finland and Arsi Harjula(3 - 3(1) - 2) from Espoo, Finland.  Both Tamminen and Harjula weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Touko Ahde, and the three ringside judges are Niko Kumpula, Arvi Vacca and Urmas Salo.  

Round 1: 

Tamminen steps back and leans on the ropes with his guard up.  Harjula steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.

Tamminen tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Harjula behind the head. Tamminen is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Harjula advances into close range.  Tamminen throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot.  Tamminen clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Tamminen pushes his forearm into Harjula's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Tamminen about fouling.

Tamminen gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the head.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Tamminen's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Harjula's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Harjula's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Tamminen has been damaged by the clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
