Juan Mosco vs Jose Barbas

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Argentina-Santa Fe promoted show at Larenzo Olan Gym, Rosario,  taking place on 21/02/2030:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Argentina-Santa Fe Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Juan Mosco (8 - 13 - 11) who hails from Rosario, Argentina and Jose Barbas(18 - 9(1)) from Santa Fe de la Vera Cruz, Argentina.  Both Mosco and Barbas weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Diego Merino, and the three ringside judges are Franco Cevallos, Diego Amescua and Rico Belles.  

Round 1: 

Barbas digs in a forceful right uppercut to Mosco's body.  IT LOOKS LIKE MOSCO WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Barbas stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Barbas lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND DROPS MOSCO!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  Mosco now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Mosco steps away from his opponent and is on target with a cross.  
Barbas manouvers Mosco into a corner.  Barbas hits home with a right hook.  
Barbas lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Barbas is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Barbas clinches his opponent.  Barbas leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Barbas advances into close range.  Barbas quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Barbas hits home with a left hook.  Barbas ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Barbas pushes his forearm into Mosco's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Barbas.  
Barbas lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Barbas holds on to his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Mosco steps to the outside and is on target with a cross.  
Barbas lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Mosco throws a left hook, but Barbas holds on to his opponent.  Barbas leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Barbas's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Barbas walks Mosco into the corner.  Barbas drives a right uppercut into his opponents body.  Mosco wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Barbas dabs at his face checking for damage.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Barbas.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Barbas lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.

Barbas digs in a solid right hook to his opponents body.

Mosco tries to step out of his opponents range and is on target with an overhand right.

Barbas quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and digs in a right hook to Mosco's body.
