Jair Cosme vs Montenegro Merino

Boxing Daily Report from the Niguel Motto Promotion promoted show at San Juan Quinonez, San Juan,  taking place on 27/02/2030:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Puerto Rico Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Puerto Rico Sports Network, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Jair Cosme (14 - 8 - 2) who hails from San Juan, Puerto Rico and Montenegro El Pirolitico Merino(21 - 2) from Ponce, Puerto Rico.  Cosme weighed in at 125 pounds and 13 ounces, while Merino weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Xaverius Fallas, and the three ringside judges are Paco Sebastian, Quico Sereno and Zelipe Sarinana.
