Jake Dysart vs Ian Mein

Boxing Daily Report from the No Limit promoted show at Irish Club, Brisbane,  taking place on 13/03/2030:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Jake Dysart (1 - 2 - 1) who hails from Melbourne, Australia and Ian Mein(1 - 0) from Brisbane, Australia.  Both Dysart and Mein weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Kondos, and the three ringside judges are John Travis, Mark Carnes and Corey Padelli.  

Round 1: 

Dysart tries to step out of his opponents range.  Dysart feints a jab, fooling Mein into throwing a left hook counter.  Dysart springs the trap, countering with  a left uppercut.  
Mein digs in a firm right hook to Dysart's ribcage.  
Dysart throws a right hook, but Mein holds on to his opponent.  Mein is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Mein hits home with a solid left uppercut.  
Mein lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Mein ties up his opponent.  Mein pushes his forearm into Dysart's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Mein is on target with a left uppercut.

Mein steps inside and digs in a firm right hook to his opponents ribcage.  Mein clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Mein pushes his forearm into Dysart's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.

Mein walks Dysart down, trapping him on the ropes.  Mein lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Mein drives a solid left hook into Dysart's body.  Mein holds on to his opponent.  Mein is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Mein is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Mein closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Mein sidesteps to the right of his opponent and digs in a right uppercut to Dysart's body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Dysart's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Dysart's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Dysart's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.
