Clinton Mupariwa vs Jamie Gezi

Boxing Daily Report from the South African Boxers promoted show at Zimbabwe International Trade Fair, Bulawayo,  taking place on 20/05/2030:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Clinton Mupariwa (5(5) - 1) who hails from Chitungwiza, Zimbabwe and Jamie Gezi(9 - 10(1) - 3) from Harare, Zimbabwe.  Mupariwa weighed in at 200 pounds, while Gezi weighed in at 199 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Chris Colville, and the three ringside judges are Mark Nyambuya, Jacob Chindungwe and Jack Shamuyarira.  

Round 1: 

Gezi forces Mupariwa to back into the ropes.  Gezi connects with a left hook.  
Mupariwa steps to the outside and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Gezi almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Gezi gets on the inside and throws a right hook, but Mupariwa holds on to his opponent.  Mupariwa pushes his forearm into Gezi's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Gezi forces Mupariwa to back into the ropes.  Gezi sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Mupariwa is on target with a hard jab.  
Gezi gets on the inside.  Mupariwa drives a right hook into Gezi's body.  
Mupariwa is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Mupariwa lands two straights followed by an overhand left to his opponents head.  
Gezi gets on the inside.  Mupariwa pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Mupariwa lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  Mupariwa clinches his opponent.  Mupariwa pushes his forearm into Gezi's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Mupariwa.  
Gezi manouvers Mupariwa onto the ropes.  Mupariwa is on target with a jab.  
Gezi steps inside.  Mupariwa pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Gezi almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Mupariwa is looking to keep his distance and hits home with a cross.  
Mupariwa steps away from his opponent and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Gezi recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Mupariwa lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Some sustained pressure from Mupariwa could be enough to finish Gezi!  Mupariwa lands a big cross.  GEZI HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  
Mupariwa lands a right uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the head, AND KNOCKS GEZI DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 7.  It looks like Gezi has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Gezi advances into close range.  Mupariwa pivots from in front of his opponent and connects with a solid left hook.  
Mupariwa is looking to keep the action on the outside and finds the target with a ramrod jab.  
Mupariwa pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a sharp cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Gezi's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.

Gezi throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Gezi is looking to close the distance.  Mupariwa quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Gezi connects with a left hook.  Mupariwa holds on to his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Mupariwa steps away from his opponent and lands a solid jab.  
Mupariwa lands a spiteful jab.  
Gezi gets on the inside and walks Mupariwa onto the ropes.  Mupariwa is on target with a stinging right hook to Gezi's body.  
Mupariwa steps to the outside.  Mupariwa sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Gezi attempts to land a jab, but Mupariwa blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Mupariwa tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Mupariwa lands an overhand right, jab and a cross to his opponents head.  
Mupariwa lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Mupariwa tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a hard jab.  
Mupariwa lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Gezi is looking to close the distance.  Mupariwa whips in a HUGE right hook to Gezi's ribcage.  GEZI IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 8.  
Gezi cuts off the ring, trapping Mupariwa on the ropes.  Mupariwa lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head, AND SENDS GEZI TO THE CANVAS!  The count reaches 10, but Gezi is unable to get up!  The winner by KO is Mupariwa!
