Santiago Aragon vs Ryo Valentin

Boxing Daily Report from the Yalley Promotions promoted show at Guayaquil Rondon, Guayaquil,  taking place on 18/03/2030:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ecuador-Guayas Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Santiago Aragon (20 - 10(4) - 2) who hails from Guayaquil, Ecuador and Ryo Valentin(8(4) - 1) from Guayaquil, Ecuador.  Aragon weighed in at 199 pounds and 13 ounces, while Valentin weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Alfonso Cilia, and the three ringside judges are Luis Cantero, Diego Ramirez and Rio Garcia.  

Round 1: 

Aragon throws a left uppercut, but Valentin ties up his opponent.  Valentin is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Valentin about fouling.  
Valentin is on target with a left uppercut to Aragon's ribs.  
Valentin manages to force Aragon into the corner.  Valentin lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Valentin digs in a solid right hook to Aragon's body.  Valentin holds on to his opponent.  Valentin tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Aragon's kidney. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Valentin to stop fouling.  
Valentin lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  Valentin ties up his opponent.  Aragon uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Valentin's kidney. Valentin leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Valentin's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Valentin pivots to the right of his opponent and digs in a sharp left uppercut to Aragon's body.  
Valentin advances into close range and lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left uppercut to the head.  
Valentin drives a right hook into his opponents body.  Valentin clinches his opponent.  Valentin uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Aragon's kidney.

Aragon attempts to land a jab, but Valentin blocks the shot and counters with a solid right hook to his opponents body.  
Valentin closes the distance and lands a left hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head.  Valentin holds on to his opponent.  Valentin is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Valentin tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Aragon's kidney. Valentin throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. 
Valentin lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Valentin is on target with a powerful left hook to Aragon's ribs.  ARAGON IS HURT!  
Valentin is looking to force the stoppage!  Valentin crashes a spiteful right uppercut to Aragon's ribs.  ARAGON HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  Aragon now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Valentin sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a cross followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Aragon's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.

Valentin steps inside and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Aragon steps inside.  Valentin lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Valentin lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Aragon switches the action to the outside.  Valentin sidesteps to the left of his opponent and hits home with an overhand left.  
Valentin advances into close range.  Valentin quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Aragon throws a right hook, but Valentin clinches his opponent.  Valentin is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. As they grapple, Valentin pushes his forearm into Aragon's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Valentin about fouling.

Valentin gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Valentin connects with a nasty right hook.  ARAGON IS HURT!  Aragon recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Valentin manouvers Aragon onto the ropes.  Valentin sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Aragon almost instantly recovers.

Aragon is looking to close the distance.  Valentin is on target with a left hook.
