Leon Bateman vs Robert Gallico

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Australia-Victoria promoted show at Melbourne Watkins, Melbourne,  taking place on 13/04/2030:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Australia-Victoria Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Leon Bateman (4(1) - 1) who hails from Melbourne, Australia and Robert Gallico(4 - 4 - 2) from Melbourne, Australia.  Both Bateman and Gallico weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Paul Tighe, and the three ringside judges are Gregor Clyde, Aaron Hadjinyan and Bruce Munhall.

Some sustained pressure from Bateman could be enough to finish Gallico!  Bateman lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head, AND DROPS GALLICO TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  It looks like Gallico has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.

Bateman manages to force Gallico into the red corner.  Bateman hits home with a left hook.  
Bateman drives a solid right hook into Gallico's body.  GALLICO WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Bateman is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Bateman lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND SENDS GALLICO TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.

He follows up the attack and lands consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body, AND SENDS GALLICO SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  The ref waves off the fight.  He does not believe Gallico can continue!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Bateman!
