Aphrodite Bakas vs Stephon Kanas

Boxing Daily Report from the Afful Promotions promoted show at Athens Rubis, Athens,  taking place on 20/03/2030:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Greece Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ERT1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Aphrodite Bakas (7 - 3(1) - 5) who hails from Athens, Greece and Stephon Kanas(17 - 7) from Athens, Greece.  Both Bakas and Kanas weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Agatone Musto, and the three ringside judges are Priam Spanos, Egidio Vlahakis and Laestrygones Hondros.  

Round 1: 

Kanas tries to land a jab, but Bakas blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Bakas retreats back to the ropes, and waits for his opponent to attack.  Kanas accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Bakas.  Kanas is on target with a cross.
