Phil Blier vs Farhan Jamil

Boxing Daily Report from the Smoking Joe promoted show at Oracle Arena, Oakland,  taking place on 16/05/2030:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sweet Phil Blier (25(18) - 1 - 1) who hails from Brampton, Canada and Farhan Jamil(22 - 10(7)) from Cairo, Egypt.  Both Blier and Jamil weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Arthur Moultrie, and the three ringside judges are Dominic Owen, Robert Christopher and Charlie Valdivia.  

Round 1: 

Jamil lowers his hands, trying to provoke his opponent to attack.  Blier throws a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Blier lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Blier is on target with a firm left hook to Jamil's liver.  
Blier lands a hard jab.  
Blier lands a firm left uppercut.  
Jamil lands a straight 1 - 2.

Jamil closes the distance and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Blier sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Jamil drives a left uppercut into his opponents body.  
Jamil feints a jab, and then throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Jamil throws a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a BRUTAL left hook.  JAMIL WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Jamil quickly recovers.

Jamil gets on the inside.  Blier quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Blier is looking to keep the action on the outside and throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Jamil is looking to close the distance.  Blier quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Jamil throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut.  
Jamil gets on the inside and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Jamil pivots to the right of his opponent.  Blier lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Blier throws an overhand right, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Jamil pivots from in front of his opponent.  Blier hits home with a stinging left uppercut.  
Blier lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Jamil sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Jamil lands with a spiteful jab.  Jamil throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut to Jamil's body.  
Jamil lands with a ramrod jab.  
Blier lands a jab to the body followed by a overhand right to the head.  
Jamil closes the distance and walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Jamil tries to land a left uppercut, but Blier parries the shot and counters with a solid right hook.  
Blier tries to land a left hook, but Jamil parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Blier lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Jamil steps inside and is on target with a right hook.  
Jamil advances into close range.  Blier lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Jamil walks Blier down, trapping him on the ropes.  Blier sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Blier lands a cross, left hook and a cross to his opponents head, AND JAMIL IS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  
Jamil advances into close range.  Blier lands two consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents head, DROPPING JAMIL TO THE CANVAS!  He isnt going to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Blier!
