Zain Ayoob vs Rehan Davi

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Iran-Tehran promoted show at Tehran Bey, Tehran,  taking place on 22/03/2030:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Iran Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on IRIB, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Zain Ayoob (8(6) - 2) who hails from Mashhad, Iran and Rehan Davi(19 - 9(1) - 4) from Tehran, Iran.  Both Ayoob and Davi weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Saad Mahmood, and the three ringside judges are Azam Emami, Lao-Tzu Hak and Saad Salameh.  

Round 1: 

Davi attempts to land a jab, but Ayoob sidesteps and counters with a big cross.  DAVI IS HURT!  Davi almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Ayoob steps inside and lands a left hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Ayoob pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Ayoob lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Davi quickly recovers. 
Ayoob lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Ayoob advances into close range and drives a firm right hook into Davi's body.  
Ayoob gets on the inside and walks Davi into a corner.  Ayoob lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  Ayoob clinches his opponent.  Ayoob is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Ayoob.  
Ayoob pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Ayoob advances into close range.  Ayoob pivots to the right of his opponent and digs in a left hook to Davi's body.  
Ayoob pivots to the side of his opponent.  Ayoob attempts to land a jab, but Davi dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Ayoob lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Ayoob sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Ayoob digs in a left hook to Davi's liver.  
Ayoob closes the distance and forces Davi to back into the ropes.  Ayoob pivots to the left of his opponent and drives a right hook into his opponents ribs.  
Ayoob is on target with a stinging right hook to Davi's body.  Ayoob holds on to his opponent.  Ayoob leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Ayoob uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Davi behind the head. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Ayoob lands a jab to his opponents body.  
Ayoob voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Davi accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Ayoob.  
Ayoob lands a left uppercut to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a left hook to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Davi quickly recovers. 
Ayoob gets on the inside and drives a firm left hook into Davi's body.  Ayoob clinches his opponent.  Ayoob uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Davi's kidney. The ref breaks Ayoob's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Davi's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Davi's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Davi's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Ayoob advances into close range and digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Ayoob digs in a stinging left hook to his opponents liver.
