Fidel Alejandre vs Edmundo Larez

Boxing Daily Report from the Bamfokwakye Promotions promoted show at Diego Estacio Gym, Ciudad Victoria,  taking place on 23/02/2030:

Clearly Bamfokwakye Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Tamaulipas Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Fidel Alejandre (2 - 6 - 3) who hails from Nuevo Laredo, Mexico and Edmundo Larez(6 - 14 - 2) from Nuevo Laredo, Mexico.  Both Alejandre and Larez weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vicente Flores, and the three ringside judges are Xeres Sevilla, Carlos Armando and Santiago Badia.  

Round 1: 

Larez lands a left hook.  
Larez closes the distance.  Alejandre attempts to land a right hook, but Larez slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Larez closes the distance and hits home with a left uppercut.  
Larez is looking to close the distance and digs in a right hook to his opponents ribs.  
As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Larez dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Larez tries to land a left uppercut, but Alejandre slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Larez advances into close range.  Larez pivots to the side of his opponent.  As Alejandre tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Larez has taken some damage there.  That has caused a slight cut in the corner of.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Alejandre's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Larez's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.
