Robert Carras vs Hayden Elliott

Boxing Daily Report from the Australia Purest Boxing promoted show at Irish Club, Brisbane,  taking place on 11/03/2030:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Australia Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on WIN, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Robert Carras (9 - 4(1) - 1) who hails from Gold Coast, Australia and Hayden Elliott(20(5) - 7(2) - 1) from Adelaide, Australia.  Carras weighed in at 117 pounds and 11 ounces, while Elliott weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dave Antoni, and the three ringside judges are Inigo Craigen, Hugh Durie and Neil Pembroke.  

Round 1: 

Elliott is looking to close the distance and throws a left hook, but his opponent avoids the punch with a sidestep.  Elliott clinches his opponent.  Elliott leans on his opponent using all his weight. As they grapple, Carras pushes his forearm into Elliott's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Elliott steps inside.  Carras throws a left uppercut, but Elliott holds on to his opponent.  Carras leans on his opponent using all his weight. Elliott pushes his forearm into Carras's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Elliott.  
Elliott manouvers Carras into a corner.  Elliott lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Elliott is on target with a jab.  
Elliott is looking to close the distance and manouvers Carras into the corner.  Elliott lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Carras is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Elliott is on target with a stinging cross.  
Elliott closes the distance.  Carras connects with a left uppercut.  
Carras pivots to the left of his opponent.  Carras tries to land a left hook, but Elliott blocks the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut.  
Elliott closes the distance.  Carras pivots to the side of his opponent.  Carras hits home with a left hook.  Elliott clinches his opponent.  Carras leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Elliott tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Carras's kidney. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Carras lands two consecutive overhand rights to his opponents head.  
Elliott gets on the inside.  Elliott pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Elliott digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  Elliott attempts to land a right hook, but Carras parries the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Elliott lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Carras is on target with a cross.

Carras steps to the outside.  Elliott lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Elliott walks Carras down, trapping him in the corner.  Elliott lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the head.  
Elliott hits home with a right uppercut.  
Elliott digs in a powerful right hook to Carras's body.  CARRAS IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.  
Elliott lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head, KNOCKING CARRAS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  Carras almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Elliott advances into close range and drives a stinging left uppercut into his opponents ribs.  
Elliott closes the distance and manouvers his opponent into a corner.  Carras throws a right hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a big left uppercut.  CARRAS IS HURT!  Carras quickly recovers. 
Elliott feints a jab, but Carras is not fooled and lands with a right uppercut.  
Elliott advances into close range.  Carras attempts to land a left hook, but Elliott sidesteps and counters with a sharp left hook.  
Elliott digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Carras tries to land an overhand left, but Elliott sidesteps and counters with a solid cross.  
Elliott sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a firm overhand left.  
Elliott circles his opponent with a low guard, waiting for his opponent to attack.  Carras lands an overhand left.  
Elliott forces Carras to retreat into the corner.  Elliott pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Elliott closes the distance.  Carras pivots to the right of his opponent.  Carras tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a firm right hook.  
Elliott closes the distance and connects with a solid left hook.

Elliott slams a spiteful left uppercut into his opponents body.  IT LOOKS LIKE CARRAS WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Carras recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Elliott manages to force Carras onto the ropes.  Elliott sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Elliott hits home with a right hook.  
Elliott lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND SENDS CARRAS TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 9.

Elliott SLAMS a BRUTAL cross into his opponents face.  DOWN GOES CARRAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  
Elliott is looking to close the distance and walks Carras onto the ropes.  Elliott lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Elliott ties up his opponent.  Elliott leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.
