Elias Carpio vs Alfonso Vinal

Boxing Daily Report from the Los Moreco Promotions promoted show at Los Gym, San Jose,  taking place on 25/03/2030:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Elias Carpio (3(2) - 1) who hails from Leon, Nicaragua and Alfonso Vinal(7 - 14 - 1) from Bucaramanga, Colombia.  Both Carpio and Vinal weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Orlando Cuadrado, and the three ringside judges are Xabat Velez, Macario Gabaldon and Ivan Rada.  

Round 1: 

Carpio digs in a left hook to Vinal's body.  As Carpio tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Vinal dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Carpio hits home with a left hook.  
Carpio advances into close range and throws a right hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Carpio ties up his opponent.  Carpio is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Carpio and breaks the clinch.  
Carpio lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Carpio walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Carpio lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Carpio holds on to his opponent.  Carpio leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Carpio is looking to close the distance.  Carpio pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Vinal lands a cross.  
Carpio steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Carpio connects with a solid left hook.  Carpio clinches his opponent.  Carpio leans on his opponent using all his weight. Carpio is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Carpio and breaks the clinch.  
Carpio digs in a left hook to Vinal's body.  
Carpio advances into close range and walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Carpio lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.

Carpio steps inside and connects with a solid left hook.  
Carpio connects with a left hook.  Carpio ties up his opponent.  Carpio leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Carpio gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Carpio sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Vinal throws a right uppercut, but Carpio ties up his opponent.  Carpio leans on his opponent using all his weight. Carpio tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Vinal behind the head. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Carpio forces Vinal to back into a corner.  Carpio lands two consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Carpio lands a right uppercut, left hook and a right hook to his opponents head.  
Carpio lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Carpio gets on the inside and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Carpio lands a left hook to the head, a right uppercut to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  
Carpio closes the distance and manages to force Vinal onto the ropes.  Carpio lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Carpio is on target with a right hook to Vinal's body.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Vinal has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Vinal's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Vinal's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.

Vinal throws a left hook, but Carpio clinches his opponent.  Carpio throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. Carpio is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Carpio's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Carpio pivots to the side of his opponent.  Carpio lands a left hook, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents head.  Carpio holds on to his opponent.  Carpio leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Carpio uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Vinal behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Carpio.  
Vinal hits home with a left uppercut.  
Carpio hits home with a cross.  
Carpio gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut, right hook and a left hook to his opponents head.  
Carpio lands a left hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Carpio closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Carpio quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Carpio tries to land a right hook, but Vinal blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  
Carpio gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Carpio is looking to close the distance.  Carpio sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Vinal attempts to land a left uppercut, but Carpio slips the shot and counters with a left hook to Vinal's body.  
Carpio lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Carpio pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook.  
Carpio is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Vinal closes the distance.  Carpio lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Carpio tries to land a right hook, but Vinal blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Carpio lands a left hook.  
Carpio drives a left hook into his opponents liver.  
Carpio pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the head.  
Carpio advances into close range.  Carpio sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right uppercut.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Vinal's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Vinal's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.
