Jeong-ho Jung vs Augusto Grifone

Boxing Daily Report from the Ninja Warriors promoted show at Arena Tachikawa Tachihi, Tokyo,  taking place on 13/04/2030:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Jeong-ho Jung (14(7) - 0) who hails from Hwaseong, South Korea and Augusto Grifone(14 - 8 - 6) from Rome, Italy.  Jung weighed in at 112 pounds, while Grifone weighed in at 111 pounds And 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ichiro Kaya, and the three ringside judges are Ichiro Koizumi, Hisoka Yamamoto and Kyo Iwai.  

Round 1: 

Grifone hits home with a left hook.  
Jung steps away from his opponent and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Jung connects with a stinging overhand right.  
Grifone is looking to close the distance and forces Jung to back into the ropes.  Jung lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Jung ties up his opponent.  The ref breaks Jung's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Jung lands a sharp jab.  
Jung tries to keep the action at long range.  Jung feints a jab, and then lands a cross.  
Jung lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Jung lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Grifone gets on the inside.  Jung lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Grifone quickly recovers. 
Jung tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a cross.  
Jung is on target with a spiteful jab.  
Grifone forces Jung to retreat onto the ropes.  Jung is on target with a right hook.  
Jung steps to the outside and connects with an overhand right.  
Jung quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and snaps his opponents head back with a ramrod jab.  
Jung lands a firm cross.  
Jung lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Jung lands a cross followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Grifone steps inside and manages to force Jung onto the ropes.  Jung lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Jung tries to land a left uppercut, but Grifone sidesteps and counters with a left hook to Jung's body.  
Jung lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Grifone throws a left uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm cross.  
Jung tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a cross followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Jung is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Jung feints a left, and then lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Jung connects with a sharp cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Grifone's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Grifone's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.

Jung is looking to keep his distance and lands an overhand right, overhand left and a jab to his opponents head.  
Jung feints a cross, and then finds the target with a jab.  
Grifone gets on the inside.  Jung pivots from in front of his opponent and EXPLODES a BRUTAL left uppercut into his opponents face.  GRIFONE IS HURT!  Grifone almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Jung steps away from his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Jung is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Jung feints a right, and then hits the target with a spiteful jab.  
Jung lands a stiff jab.  Jung throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Jung tries to keep the action at long range and lands an overhand right followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Jung snaps his opponents head back with a hard jab.  
Jung lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Jung connects with a stinging cross.  
Jung feints a left, and then lands a jab to the head followed by a cross to the body.  
Grifone gets on the inside.  Jung lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Jung ties up his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Jung tries to keep the action at long range and drives a jab into his opponents body.  
Jung lands a straight 1 - 2.  He follows up the attack and lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Grifone quickly recovers. 
Jung lands a hurtful overhand right.  IT LOOKS LIKE GRIFONE WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Grifone closes the distance.  Jung knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Jung lands a FEROCIOUS right uppercut.  GRIFONE IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 8.  Grifone now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Jung pivots to the right of his opponent.  Jung lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Jung clinches his opponent.  Jung is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Jung.  
Jung tries to keep the action at long range.  The right shot from Jung could be enough to force the stoppage!  Jung lands a right uppercut to the body, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head, KNOCKING GRIFONE DOWN!  He unsteadily tries to get up but is unable to beat the 10 count!  The winner by KO is Jung!
