Vandwon Fungamwango vs David Rubia

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Mombasa promoted show at Mombasa Chesoni, Mombasa,  taking place on 04/04/2030:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Eastern African Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Vandwon Fungamwango (15 - 2) who hails from Lusaka, Zambia and David Rubia(13 - 1) from Mombasa, Kenya.  Fungamwango weighed in at 175 pounds, while Rubia weighed in at 174 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Lisimba Dalrymple, and the three ringside judges are Jay Matiku, Joey Keino and George Waciuma.
