Sergeant Gedeon vs Verity Simon

Boxing Daily Report from the alkmer firinos promoted show at Douala Foncha, Douala,  taking place on 04/04/2030:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Western African Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on CRTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Sergeant Gedeon (20(2) - 4) who hails from Pikine, Senegal and Verity Simon(18 - 4(2)) from Douala, Cameroon.  Gedeon weighed in at 174 pounds and 12 ounces, while Simon weighed in at 174 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ives Aubert, and the three ringside judges are Valentin Tawamba, Justin Desnos and Flannery Ngoudjo.
