Fresco Rendon vs John Sambrano

Boxing Daily Report from the Boomer Promotions promoted show at Florida State Conference Center, Tallahassee,  taking place on 05/04/2030:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Fresco Rendon (2 - 0) who hails from Santa Clara, Cuba and John Sambrano(0 - 3) from Coral Springs, USA.  Both Rendon and Sambrano weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Stuart Gillund, and the three ringside judges are Onofre Villagomez, Chris Villalta and Paul Bason.  

Round 1: 

Sambrano connects with a cross.  
Rendon lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.

Sambrano throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
Sambrano manages to force Rendon onto the ropes.  Rendon is on target with a sharp right uppercut.  Rendon tries to land a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Sambrano is looking to close the distance.  Rendon digs in a right hook to Sambrano's ribs.  
Rendon feints a jab, and then is on target with a solid jab.  
Rendon connects with a firm left hook.  
Rendon lands a cross to the head followed by a left hook to the body.
