Rico Marques vs Carlos Torres

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Brazil-Sao Paulo promoted show at Sao Paulo Teixeira, Sao Paulo,  taking place on 13/04/2030:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Brazil-Sao Paulo Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV Esporte Interativo, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rico Marques (11 - 9 - 5) who hails from Sao Paulo, Brazil and Carlos Torres(15 - 7 - 5) from Sao Paulo, Brazil.  Both Marques and Torres weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gervasio Lino, and the three ringside judges are Juan Araujo, Carlos Aponte and Vicente DaVilla.  

Round 1: 

Torres closes the distance.  Marques throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Torres gets on the inside and throws a left uppercut, but his opponent avoids the shot.  Torres holds on to his opponent.  Torres pushes his forearm into Marques's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Torres lands a right hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Torres walks Marques onto the ropes.  Marques throws a left hook, but Torres holds on to his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Marques dabs at his face checking for damage.
