Nathan Jones vs Stuart Butler

Boxing Daily Report from the Louie Lefevre promoted show at Sheffield Hallam University Sports Park, Sheffield,  taking place on 12/04/2030:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the British-Central England Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Nathan Jones (18 - 11(2)) who hails from Derby, UK and Stuart Butler(5 - 5 - 3) from Liverpool, UK.  Jones weighed in at 200 pounds, while Butler weighed in at 199 pounds and 3 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Barry Dower, and the three ringside judges are Mark Mitchell, Robert Wathen and Blake Forgie.  

Round 1: 

Jones steps away from his opponent.  Butler attempts to land a cross, but Jones sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Butler walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Jones drives a right hook into Butler's body.  
Jones pivots from in front of his opponent.  Butler connects with a left hook.  
Jones sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Butler digs in a right hook to Jones's ribcage.  
Jones steps away from his opponent.  Jones feints a cross, and then connects with an overhand right.  
Butler advances into close range and forces Jones to back into a neutral corner.  Jones digs in a left hook to Butler's liver.  
Butler walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Jones is on target with a jab.  
Butler is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Jones lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Jones pivots to the left of his opponent and finds the target with a jab.

Butler is looking to close the distance.  Jones leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Butler accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Jones.  Butler connects with a left hook.

Butler tries to land a cross, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Jones switches the action to the outside.  Butler lands a cross.  
Jones steps away from his opponent.  Butler hits home with a cross.
