Douglas Baird vs Robert Thomas

Boxing Daily Report from the Kurusu Promotions promoted show at O2 Academy, Glasgow,  taking place on 23/05/2030:

Clearly Kurusu Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Scotland Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Douglas Baird (21(3) - 1) who hails from Dundee, UK and Robert Thomas(10 - 17(2) - 4) from Glasgow, UK.  Both Baird and Thomas weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joseph Menelaws, and the three ringside judges are Peter Cullen, George Black and Robert Priddy.  

Round 1:
