Josh Muniru vs Alastair Asabigi

Boxing Daily Report from the Coetzee Promotions promoted show at Kumasi Mensah, Kumasi,  taking place on 20/03/2030:

Clearly Coetzee Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ghana-Ashanti Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on bTV Action, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Josh Muniru (3 - 6 - 2) who hails from Kumasi, Ghana and Alastair Asabigi(10 - 7 - 6) from Kumasi, Ghana.  Muniru weighed in at 168 pounds, while Asabigi weighed in at 167 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Louis Nkrumah, and the three ringside judges are Amon Amartey, Bob Antwi and Otieno Adomah.  

Round 1: 

Asabigi sidesteps to the right of his opponent and connects with a left hook.  
Muniru closes the distance.  Asabigi pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Asabigi steps to the outside.  Muniru lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Muniru steps inside.  Asabigi lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.
