Carlos Caro vs Hernan Jerez

Boxing Daily Report from the Los Moreco Promotions promoted show at Los Gym, San Jose,  taking place on 10/04/2030:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Carlos Caro (5 - 0) who hails from San Jose, Costa Rica and Hernan Jerez(3 - 4) from Villa Nueva, Guatemala.  Both Caro and Jerez weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Tadzio Karp, and the three ringside judges are Oro Serbin, Fraco Dario and Manuel Borromeo.  

Round 1: 

Jerez cuts off the ring, trapping Caro on the ropes.  Jerez throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp right hook.
