Kaede Yoshino vs Mikio Sugai

Boxing Daily Report from the Paintsil Promotions promoted show at Takeo Ota Gym, Funabashi,  taking place on 23/03/2030:

Clearly Paintsil Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Chiba Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kaede Yoshino (14 - 11 - 3) who hails from Matsudo, Japan and Mikio Sugai(10 - 3 - 1) from Kashiwa, Japan.  Both Yoshino and Sugai weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hisoka Nakamura, and the three ringside judges are Fumio Taketa, Daiki Fujimura and Goro Horie.  

Round 1: 

Sugai pivots to the right of his opponent and attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Yoshino to the neutral corner.  He threatens Sugai with a point deduction if he keeps fouling.  
Yoshino advances into close range and lands a right hook.  
Sugai pivots to the side of his opponent.  Yoshino is on target with a left hook to his opponents ribs.  Yoshino throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Sugai steps to the outside and hits home with an overhand left.
