Ian Crabb vs Shaun Thomason

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Jamaica-Saint Andrew promoted show at David Hannay Gym, New Kingston,  taking place on 22/04/2030:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Jamaica-Saint Andrew Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ian Crabb (2 - 6) who hails from New Kingston, Jamaica and Shaun Thomason(3 - 8 - 2) from New Kingston, Jamaica.  Crabb weighed in at 112 pounds, while Thomason weighed in at 111 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ricky Hewson, and the three ringside judges are Dave Blackard, James Wands and James Wands.  

Round 1: 

Thomason closes the distance.  Thomason steps back and leans on the ropes with his guard up.  Crabb is whaling away with hooks, but Thomason keeps his defence tight.  
Thomason steps away from his opponent.  Crabb sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with an overhand left.  
Thomason lands a cross.  
Crabb pivots to the side of his opponent and hits home with a cross.

Thomason advances into close range.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Crabb has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
