Mark Moi vs Oscar Kinyonga

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Mombasa promoted show at Mombasa Tarbei, Mombasa,  taking place on 23/04/2030:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya-Mombasa Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mark Moi (10 - 10 - 4) who hails from Mombasa, Kenya and Oscar Kinyonga(7 - 15 - 4) from Mombasa, Kenya.  Both Moi and Kinyonga weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Robert Perlo, and the three ringside judges are James Baldacchino, Paul Kithuka and Robert Perlo.  

Round 1: 

Kinyonga advances into close range.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Kinyonga.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Moi tries to keep the action at long range and lands an overhand right.  
Kinyonga pivots to the right of his opponent and connects with a cross.
