Felix Sterett vs Chris Davin

Boxing Daily Report from the ADR Boxing promoted show at Geelong Baseball Centre, Geelong,  taking place on 22/05/2030:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Felix Sterett (12(6) - 1) who hails from Chula Vista, USA and Chris Davin(17 - 14(5) - 3) from Sydney, Australia.  Both Sterett and Davin weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gabriele Raia, and the three ringside judges are Mark Givan, Dale Holland and Sam Beatty.  

Round 1: 

Davin feints a left hook, but Sterett ignores the feint and responds with a sharp left hook.  
Sterett is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Davin throws a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Davin advances into close range and tries to land a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm left uppercut to his opponents body.

Sterett lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.

Davin closes the distance.  Davin sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Davin attempts to land a right hook, but Sterett sidesteps and counters with a CRUSHING left uppercut.  DAVIN IS HURT!  Davin almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Sterett steps away from his opponent and lands a jab to the body, a cross to the head and an overhand right to the head.  
Davin steps inside and manages to force Sterett onto the ropes.  Sterett connects with a stinging left hook.  Sterett tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Sterett tries to step out of his opponents range.  Davin sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Davin tries to land a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a sharp right hook.  
Sterett hits the target with a hard jab.  
Davin attempts to land an overhand left, but Sterett sidesteps and counters with a spiteful left hook.  DOWN GOES DAVIN!  HE MAKES IT TO ONE KNEE, BUT IS UNABLE TO RISE ANY FURTHER AS THE REF COUNTS 10!  The winner by KO is Sterett!
