Jay Baston vs Okapi Mombeshora

Boxing Daily Report from the Wigwam Promotions promoted show at Stade Port Autonome, Dakar,  taking place on 30/04/2030:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Jay Baston (31(19) - 3 - 1) who hails from Dakar, Senegal and Okapi Mombeshora(20 - 5) from Harare, Zimbabwe.  Both Baston and Mombeshora weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Landry de la Bretonne, and the three ringside judges are Orleans Dabo, Romain Ndong and Thibaud Ly.  

Round 1: 

Mombeshora lands a ramrod jab.  
Baston is on target with a stinging overhand left.  
Mombeshora is looking to close the distance and digs in a right hook to Baston's ribs.  
Baston steps away from his opponent and lands an overhand left followed by a cross to his opponents head.

Baston digs in a solid left hook to his opponents liver.  
Baston wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Mombeshora has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Baston lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Baston ties up his opponent.  Mombeshora hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Baston is on target with a solid left uppercut to his opponents liver.  Baston clinches his opponent.  Baston is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Baston tries to keep the action at long range and hits home with a stinging cross.  
Mombeshora steps inside.  Mombeshora pivots from in front of his opponent.  Mombeshora digs in a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  Baston clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Mombeshora pushes his forearm into Baston's face.  The referee warns Mombeshora and breaks the clinch.

Mombeshora is on target with a firm right hook to his opponents body.  Mombeshora throws a right uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid cross.  
Baston is looking to keep his distance and lands a jab.  
Baston lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Baston lands an overhand left followed by a cross to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Mombeshora recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Mombeshora.  That has caused a slight cut above the right eye.  .  
Mombeshora manages to force Baston onto the ropes.  Mombeshora is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.

Mombeshora throws a cross, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a VICIOUS cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE MOMBESHORA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Baston is looking to force the stoppage!  Baston lands a HUGE left uppercut.  MOMBESHORA HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  THE COUNT REACHES 10, BUT MOMBESHORA IS UNABLE TO GET UP!  The winner by KO is Baston!
