Eduardo Diaz vs Eduardo Tafoya

Boxing Daily Report from the Callybox promoted show at Mexicali Gonzalez, Mexicali,  taking place on 22/04/2030:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Mexico-Baja California Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Eduardo Diaz (13 - 7 - 3) who hails from Tijuana, Mexico and Eduardo Tafoya(20(5) - 3) from Tijuana, Mexico.  Both Diaz and Tafoya weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joaquin Badillo, and the three ringside judges are Juan Griego, Carlos Cornejo and Xabat Badillo.  

Round 1: 

Tafoya connects with an overhand left.  
Tafoya pivots to the left of his opponent and drives a right uppercut into his opponents ribcage.  
Tafoya lands a left uppercut.  
Tafoya lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Tafoya connects with a left uppercut.  Tafoya ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Tafoya pushes his forearm into Diaz's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Tafoya.

Tafoya is looking to close the distance and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Tafoya pivots from in front of his opponent and finds the target with a solid jab.  
Tafoya gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut to the head, a left uppercut to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  
Tafoya connects with a sharp right uppercut.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Diaz dabs at his face checking for damage.
