Juan Abela vs Guillermo Morillo

Boxing Daily Report from the Ballantyne Promotions promoted show at Panama City Leo, Panama City,  taking place on 29/03/2030:

Clearly Ballantyne Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Panama-Panama State Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Juan Abela (12(1) - 4 - 1) who hails from Panama City, Panama and Guillermo Morillo(7 - 14(3) - 4) from Panama City, Panama.  Both Abela and Morillo weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Manny Meneses, and the three ringside judges are Carlos Cobo, Gervasio Poblete and Jeraldo Alamillo.  

Round 1: 

Abela lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND KNOCKS MORILLO DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.  Abela holds on to his opponent.  Abela leans on his opponent using all his weight. Abela pushes his forearm into Morillo's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  Morillo recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Abela closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Abela sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Morillo throws a left hook, but Abela holds on to his opponent.  Abela is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Abela and breaks the clinch.  
Abela advances into close range.  Morillo sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Abela lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Abela clinches his opponent.  Abela leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Morillo steps away from his opponent.  Abela drives a sharp jab into his opponents face.  
Abela gets on the inside.  Abela sidesteps to the left of his opponent and digs in a right hook to Morillo's body.  
Abela pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to Morillo's body.  
Abela digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Abela drives a right hook into Morillo's body.  
Abela drives a left hook into Morillo's body.  
Abela is looking to close the distance and drives a right hook into Morillo's body.  
Abela steps inside and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Morillo recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Abela connects with a cross.  
Abela gets on the inside and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  Abela ties up his opponent.  Abela tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Morillo's kidney. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Abela.  
Abela finds the target with a jab.  
Abela lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  Abela ties up his opponent.  Abela leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Abela hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. 
Abela closes the distance and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Morillo connects with a right hook.  
Abela pivots to the left of his opponent and digs in a left hook to Morillo's body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Morillo's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Morillo's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Morillo's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Morillo steps to the outside.  Abela lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  Abela tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Morillo switches the action to the outside.  Abela sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Morillo connects with an overhand left.  
Abela closes the distance and lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body, AND SENDS MORILLO SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  
Abela manages to force Morillo into a corner.  Abela lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.
