Harvey Griff vs Dave Blackard

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Canada-Manitoba promoted show at Winnipeg Hew, Winnipeg,  taking place on 27/04/2030:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Canada-Manitoba Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Network, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Harvey Griff (21 - 2(1)) who hails from Winnipeg, Canada and Dave Blackard(4 - 2 - 2) from Winnipeg, Canada.  Griff weighed in at 139 pounds and 5 ounces, while Blackard weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Blake Brydon, and the three ringside judges are Leon Thomson, Dave Cloy and Leon Thomson.  

Round 1: 

Blackard steps inside.  Griff pivots to the right of his opponent.  Blackard throws a left hook, but Griff clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Griff pushes his forearm into Blackard's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
