Cole Shongwe vs Napoleon Assiful

Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Africa-Gauteng promoted show at Roodepoort Mabila, Roodepoort,  taking place on 31/03/2030:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Africa-Gauteng Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Cole Shongwe (13 - 9 - 4) who hails from Soshanguve, South Africa and Napoleon Assiful(6(1) - 0) from Katlehong, South Africa.  Both Shongwe and Assiful weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Luvolwethu Motupa, and the three ringside judges are Robert Kasulu, Euan Kriel and Thabo Nomvete.  

Round 1: 

Assiful throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Shongwe is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Assiful lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Assiful closes the distance.  Shongwe throws a right uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.

Shongwe tries to land a cross, but Assiful sidesteps and counters with a firm right uppercut.  
Assiful gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Assiful closes the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Assiful ties up his opponent.  Assiful leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Assiful lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Shongwe steps away from his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
Shongwe sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Assiful is on target with a left uppercut.  
Assiful manouvers his opponent into a neutral corner.  Assiful lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Assiful quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Shongwe lands a left hook.  
Assiful lands a right hook.  Assiful ties up his opponent.  Assiful is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Shongwe is looking to keep his distance.  Assiful lands with a stiff jab.  
Shongwe throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Shongwe tries to land a right hook, but Assiful slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

The winner by KO is Assiful!
