Paul Uys vs Mandla Nyauza

Boxing Daily Report from the South African Boxers promoted show at Rainbow Towers Hotel, Harare,  taking place on 13/05/2030:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Paul Uys (6 - 0) who hails from Soweto, South Africa and Mandla Nyauza(5 - 5 - 2) from Soweto, South Africa.  Both Uys and Nyauza weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dillon Mutasa, and the three ringside judges are Jacob Aulds, Bradley Masunda and Sammy Mukoneweshuro.  

Round 1: 

Uys is looking to close the distance and hits home with a left hook.  
Uys sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Nyauza has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
