Xaver Tomes vs Shaun Howell

Boxing Daily Report from the Box Zone promoted show at Adam Bonnar Gym, Kingston,  taking place on 22/04/2030:

Clearly Box Zone have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Xaver Tomes (2 - 0) who hails from Leon, Mexico and Shaun Howell(6 - 5) from Spanish Town, Jamaica.  Both Tomes and Howell weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Woodburn, and the three ringside judges are Edward Bivens, Sid Eddie and John French.  

Round 1: 

Tomes steps inside.  Tomes sidesteps to the left of his opponent and drives a left uppercut into his opponents liver.  
Howell feints a cross, and then attempts to land a jab, but Tomes sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Tomes is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook.

Tomes manages to force Howell onto the ropes.  Tomes is on target with a left hook to Howell's ribs.

Tomes cuts off the ring, trapping Howell on the ropes.  Tomes lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.

Howell switches the action to the outside.  Tomes lands a jab.  
Tomes drives a left hook into Howell's liver.  
Tomes gets on the inside.  Tomes sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Tomes tries to land a jab, but Howell sidesteps and counters with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Tomes gets on the inside and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Tomes lands a left hook.  As Howell tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Tomes has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Howell tries to step out of his opponents range.  Tomes hits home with a cross.  
Tomes pivots to the right of his opponent.  Tomes throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Tomes steps inside.  Howell is on target with a left hook.  
Tomes drives a right hook into his opponents ribcage.  
Tomes pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  As Howell tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Tomes dabs at his face checking for damage.
